I have tasted some inspiring bottles of the '85, but there may be some bottle variation. Nonetheless, it is a massive wine at its best. Deep purple, with a very jammy, grapy nose, full-bodied, with lots of velvety, sweet fruit flavors and medium tannins. (JS, Web Only-1989)
